Wii Backup Loader

Saw this on digg.com

Is this a video of the first wii backup loader??? or is it just another hox. From watching it it seems to be the same unit runing through the same AV channel all the time (AV1 appears twice in top right of the tv), my only concern is ~1:38 in when the camera goes out of focus on a black screen between the wii game selection screen and the game. I cant imagine why any camera would do this other then to maybe hide some editing ;-)

If it is what it is said to be one of the quickest hacks ever in my memory.

This video claims to show PS1/2 games running on a PS£. If what is shown is true its utter garbage, and yet another reason for not buying a PS£ -- poor backward compatability!

Such a shame as this has been a big USP for sony with previous versions.

Helicopter Alarm Clock

I love this idea, its perfect for people like me who are crap at waking up.

Its an alarm clock which has a helicopter on top, when the alarm goes off the helicopter takes off. The only way to stop the alarm is by getting out of bed, finding the helicopter and placing it back on the base unit.

Only problem is i might end up throwing the base unit accross the room if i couldnt find the attachment.

DIY Nightmare

The weapon

So last week my friend came over to give me a hand with DIY.

Simplish task - take down the old loft ladder and instal a new one.

Not so simple when the loft ladder snapped shut on my friend, hitting his nose. Luckly for him his nose has been broken numerous time so it simply squished.

The downside to this is it squished so much so that the, almost, full force hit his lip and clean cut it streight through. When he could finally smile you could see his teeth through the whole in his lip!!!!!

At a recent Canadian Community Party, Epic VP Mark Rein was on hand to take a light-hearted open floor Q&A. Aside from a lot of information on Gears' gameplay and marketing, Rein also joked about the rumours of how the game costs Microsoft one billion dollars.
